"Gay cake" case in the UK



I was asked to give a talk at a Leeds LGBT Diversity Group event, “Breakthrough moments: LGBT people and the law”, on the "gay cake" case.

I wrote about this case here, when the Supreme Court judgment was handed down last October. 

It was interesting to return to the case a few months after the judgment and look at it afresh.

I still think the Supreme Court got this very wrong and, in doing so, has significantly set back protections for gay people from faith-based discrimination.
